I fell asleep on the couch last night when I got home from work and slept through the Yankee game, so I didn’t get to see Kennedy pitch, but who can complain about 6 innings and only one run? Yes, he walked four, and I read that the O’s hit the ball pretty hard, but he only gave up one run. Sometimes, getting the result even if you rely on a few breaks to get it is just what someone needs to build up their confidence. Maybe now Kennedy can use that confidence and continue to improve. I wish he could have gotten his first win of the season, though. Probably would relieved some more of the pressure he’s sure to be putting on himself.
